HDMI and sound

I don’t have this problem, but I am curious.
It appears with Arch & Ubuntu, that when
People switch to HDMI, the audio
Becomes higher pitched. Thoughts are it
Might be related to pulseaudio.
Has this problem appeared with openSUSE?

I am unsure here as my sound is not done by my HDMI, but the most likely suspect for audio issues is going to be from the card rather then pulseaudio.
Sure pulseaudio may have its issues but HDMI sound is usually done with proprietary drivers rather then the open ones.

I don’t experience the problem.

no altered pitch here, 2 laptops with hdmi, since 12.2, now both on 13.1

I’ve never observed it myself - I use HDMI out on my laptop occasionally
and connect it to my home theater - seems to work just fine on openSUSE
12.2 and 13.1.
