hddtemp en plasmoid Thermal Monitor

Estoy intentando configurar los sensores de temperatura y no consigo que el Plasmoid Thermal Monitor muestre la temperatura de los discos duros.
He instalado hddtemp y sensors, luego he ejecutado “sensors-detect” pero el plasmoid no muestra los HDD.
Creo haber encontrado la solución en este hilo pero no sé como arreglarlo.

He leido ese enlace y me recuerda a lo que pasa desde hace muchísimo con ese plasmoide. Cuando inicias sesión no da la temperatura de la CPU, pero si haces click derecho → Reload Temperature Sources te la pone.

El sensor añadido en mi caso es: lmsensors/coretemp-isa-0000/Package_id_0

Yo tampoco entiendo esa solución (que no sé si se aplica a mi, a ti o a los dos). Aparte de que he visto el medidor subir a 100ºC cuando eso es imposible ya que con 80ºC reales el ordenador se para (no se apaga pero se congela la pantalla y hay que hacer REISUB).

No sé si medirá mal la temperatura porque al menos da esa sensación.

hddtemp no lo tengo instalado. Creo que lei en alguna ocasión que con sensors es suficiente:

Hola:

Según vi hace tiempo hdtemp, corre en 2º plano y que sepa no es necesario instalarlo , prefiero una aplicación que la ejecute eventualmente y se desconecte una vez terminado .

Sobre sensors-detect, ahi , creo que es necesario para inxi, ademas para el comando sensors .

De los plasmaoid , había tres y uno de ellos daba fallos, en el mismo plasmoid, se avisaba sobre ello, por lo que solo que había que instalar 2 de ellos, después de la lista se elegía los que podías usar para que te indicara la medida, ya que la lista es grande :

El que comenta @ krovican va bien, aún que puedes elegir mas .

El que probé y conozco es el 2º de tu enlace, en un principio se saco con un error, indicando que fallaba, pero lo solucionaron y a partir de ahí no hubo problemas, en cuanto los que hay, me preció, ver 5 o mas, uno de ellos iba bien : se parece en el nombre podia ser thermal monitor fix , no recuerdo pero estaba como un simple monitor.

De todas formas lo pones a buscar, en zona de búsqueda , pones temp y descargas el que quieras .

Como que un enlace , si va en la barra de tareas y es un plasmoid?

De todas formas, creo que hay un incidencia para bajarse personificaciones, temas, plasmoids, etc , suele salir algo como esto (y solo pasa con la 15.4) :

Ya me funciona, he instalado la versión del plasmoide “Thermal Monitor FIX” y he copiado el fichero /usr/bin/qdbus-qt5 a /usr/bin/qdbus y al reiniciar ya reconoce los sensores de los HDD el plasmoide.

Con esta versión no hace falta clickar “Reload Temperature Sources”, supongo que de ahí la coletilla “FIX”.

He bajado el Thermal Monitor Fix tras leer algunos comentarios:

He aprovechado para actualizar el sistema (aún sigo en 15.3) y reiniciar (en mi caso no he copiado ningún fichero).

Va casi perfecto. Tarda unos pocos segundos pero ya sale la temperatura por sí sola (la temperatura de la gráfica es instantánea). Se acabó el incordio del Reload Sources.

Yo también sigo con 15.3 hasta que me salga el baner en Yast de que ya no hay soporte XD, entonces actualizaré a 15.4 que ya estará mas pulida.
Hace tiempo que no padezco de versionitis, para eso esta VirtualBox.

Ejecutaste sensor-detect , al hacerlo se configura el archivo, pero aún así , creo que a veces hay que habilitarlo ; antes era en gestor de archivo, ahora no se si lo hace junto con smartd, de todas formas en gestor de servicios queda lo de lm-sensores.

Muchas veces depende de que en el kernel lo incluya, una de mis placas tardo casi 2 años en mostrar los sensores (las placas suelen comunicarse por buses I2C o I3C, donde pasan datos , como temp, rpm, etc , si sensors-detect no da con la dirección correcta de escaneo no mostrara, la información correspondiente .

Aunque creo que hdtemp, se ejecuta en 2º plano, y come recursos a la cpu, necesites o no esa información (mi preferencia es mostrar ese dato cuando lo necesite y des-activarlo cuando no lo necesite, pero creo que por defecto viene ya activado) .

y lm-sensors en yast gestor de servicios, viene (manual) inactivo (muerto) , creo que tienes que mirar mas en sensors-detect y lo que salga es lo que hay .

Antes de postear mi salida de sensors ya hice de nuevo el sensors-detect. YES a todo y es lo que hay.

Y el servicio hace años que está Activo y durante el arranque.

Pues a esperar que lo incluya el kernel, ademas de eso tiene que dar las rpm de los ventiladores de la placa base.
(en el x299 me parece que no me los da, ademas tiene una placa de extensión para 4 ventiladores mas, lo que no recuerdo y lo mirare en otro momento, es que en ese pc, tengo TW, 15.3 y 15.4, que es el log que puse, mirare los 2 primeros TW y la 15.2) .

Hay otra cosa que da la temperatura del los hd y creo que era el programa de particiones, en ver el smart de los discos, pero siempre que el disco sea compatible (mirar si bios tiene para habilitarlo) .

Los datos deberían ser esos mas las rpm de los ventiladores (incluso el de la bomba de rl , me parece que lo interpreta como un ventilador) .

Por la tarde lo pondré en marcha y otro que tengo para hacerle mantenimiento y pasar info al servidor (el que tardo 2 años en darme esos datos )

El programa de particiones debe ser partition manager (particionador de kde) y smartctl -a /dev/sda da temperatura :
