HDCP Error while watching Amazon Videos


Using Leap 15 and I am getting an HDCP error for playing it in HD mode. The error message is given below. Please help. I am using a DELL Laptop and connected to an external Full HD Samsung monitor.

“Your video will play in standard definition because your computer hardware, HDMI cables, and display must all meet content protection(HDCP)requirement for HD video.”

The wording suggests to me that this might be a DMCA issue. And that might mean that it is really complaining about the software.


I don’t think so. Amazon Prime is what I was watching. HDCP means High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection
