hd5850 with lcd monitor works and hd3850 with TV through s-video not working

So I decided to add a HD 3850 to connect a spare TV I had lying around. To connect it with the graphic card I used an s-video cable.
I have been messing with it to work for a few weeks now, didn’t really had a lot of time to spare and it wasn’t too high on my priorities, but in the end I think I have reached a dead end, so I thought I might get some help here.

The problem is that I cant seem to be able to enable the second graphic card, or it might be just the s-video output. Initially started with the fglrx driver and the 5850 but since the 3850 needed legacy fglrx and they cant coexist on the same system, so I removed the fglrx and went with the radeon driver.

From researching how to setup the radeon driver I found two ways, first xrandr but couldnt find documentation about tv outputs, second through editing xorg.conf which there isnt one to begin with and whenever I created one it looked like it was completely ignored.
Had a clean install of opensuse 13.1 just in case there was some interference beyond my understanding but still the TV is blank displaying “no signal”.
