Howto KDE-Look.org

It seems that its a superkaramba widget, not a plasmoid.

  1. Make sure that you have installed superkaramba from the repos.

  2. Right click on desktop -> Add Widgets -> Install New Widgets -> Install from file -> Superkaramba -> and select the extracted .skz file.

linux-vw93:/home/jakes/superkaramba-0.39 # ./configure

SI-01: How do I install tar.gz’s and RPM’s? - MandrivaUsers.org

Hi
You need to install the ‘Base Development’ pattern via YaST.

As suggested, why not just install from the repos? Search here for
superkaramba;

and Monitor.

Hi
It may be better to start a new thread in the hardware forum relating
to your screen sizing issue;

When you post can you confirm is this a laptop LCD or an external
monitor? If you also run the following command and paste the output;

/sbin/lspci -nnv |grep VGA
