I am a new user and I am trying to install my updates. Usually this application will list the updates available and an “additional confirmation required” box shows additional software and updates available. The application then prompts you to sign in using your root password to get the updates. Problem is… I am not getting the option to enter my root password allowing me to update anything.
Please help!!!
Thanks
What happens if you go into YaST, then go into “Software Management”? Do you get a lot of software updates then? And then are you allowed to update them?

good advice, but not “Software Management”
instead, “Software” (on the left) and “Online Update” on the right…
