Does this work for opensuse 11.3 … i mean installing directly from the iso file ? In case some changes are needed to the procedure please mention the same.

If you are referring to the method for installing directly from DVD iso in my post #2, the answer is yes, as I did use it to install separate 11.3 KDE and Gnome systems. You should only need to change the appropriate name of the downloaded .iso image file.
If that is not the case, please reference the required solution’s post in your reply. It will be much later today for any reply from me, due to other commitments.
