I’ve been trying to get my wacom companion II to run Linux for about a few weeks now. I was wonering if anyone has gotten it to have any functionality as far as touchscreen or stylus. I’ve installed openSUSE wich works fine if I use the usb for input devices, of course that’s not why I bought the companion II. I’ve tried doing what this mailing list recommends to no avail.

If anyone has had any luck getting any use out of a wacom companion II running linux please let me know how you did it.

You might ask on the wacom-linux mailing list - there’s a project on
Sourceforge (where the list that’s hosted) that has a couple of Wacom
employees who create the Wacom Linux drivers in their (I believe) spare
time.
That’s probably your best resource.
