Hi I am wanting to build a Linux, more than likely openSUSE based, media
center and looking for some suggestions on hardware and even software.
The biggest suggestion that I need is a good TV tuner card that will
work, the only problem I have with ATI is there horrible drivers. Any
other suggestions you have are welcome, this will be my biggest personal
use build yet and I want to do it right

Thanks for the suggestions looking at the hardware list seems like
there are a couple that will work with 11.1 and hopefully up if I can
find them, most of them look older so most stores may not have it
anymore. As for software it looks like a lot of people have good luck
with mythtv, and I found Moovida
(http://www.susegeek.com/multimedia/moovida-adavanced-media-center-in-
opensuse/) which supports what I want the biggest thing is TV playback
(Analog?). I guess I should have said that I am in the U.S. so it
needs to support analog TV in what ever format that is used here.

PS being able to record TV shows will be a plus
