Hangup upgrading from 13.1 to 13.2

So I boot in the DVD and start the upgrade…

After a few screens, I get to “Reading List of Online Repositories”
which has a box in the center which says “Network not configured.
Would you like to Configure it?” And there are a pair of boxes –
Yes/No. I click on Yes and nothing happens. There is a status bar
at the bottom which doesn’t increment and all the buttons seem
to be inoperative – Help, Release Notes, Next ,Abort are ignored.
If I hit No instead of Yes I get an message that I won’t have a network.

I’ve rebooted at this point and tried again – same thing.

I am hard wired to our network which seems to be working fine.

Why don’t you just go on with the installation?
You don’t need a network when installing from the DVD.

I have no idea whether it would be possible to get it working afterwards though.
That depends on what actual network card you have.

OTOH, maybe it would just work anyway?
I would just try it.

If the network doesn’t work after the installation, please come back with details of your hardware, preferably the output of “/sbin/lspci -nnk”.

OK – I’ll try it. It will probably wait till Monday. It’s not a new machine – I’ve had
it for years – no problems with the network on Suse 9 thru 13.1. In any case,
here’s the lspci response…

1038% /sbin/lspci -nnk

Well, I wouldn’t really expect any problem then.
Maybe you just hit some bug in the installer. Maybe it got confused by the presence of two network cards? lol!
