Hi, when there is a lot of updates, my system tend to shut down or reboot but hangs on the initial boot page (see picture) forever. I have to do a hard reboot. Also when the system boots I get this error (see 2nd picture) even though the system loads and boots correctly afterwards. It looks like it’s related to the BIOS firmware that is not recognized by the kernel, could that be related to my initial issue? Have you ever experienced that before? I’m pretty new to Tumbleweed (after spending 10 years on Ubuntu and 3 years on Manjaro) and I really enjoy it.
What happens if you edit grub and add acpi=off
in the boot parameters?
