I have my old laptop with Opensuse 12.1 with handbrake 0.9.8-1.1 It recognises the AVI without a problem, but the laptop is slow and I don’t want it to heat up unnecessarily. So I connected the usb drive with AVI’s to my quad core desktop, there I have Opensuse 12.2 and the newer handbrake0.9.8-1.16. This combination however does not recognise my AVIs like on the laptop. In the activity log it says: scan: unrecognized file type
What can I do about it? Handbrake is simply installed with Yast from the Packman repository, just like i did in 12.1.
