Hahaha, Windows7 EULA page now up

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/eula.aspx

You have to hand it to those lawyers, always trying so hard to protect their mumbo jumbos. The placeholder page for the Windows 7 End User License Agreement is now live (and has been for at least 2 weeks).

Oh, Windows 7 already released? I though it will be released in 2011 or so?

Yeah, the release is something like 2011, like you thought.

The MS lawyers have gotten their say in first, even before the betas are out.

LOL

Heeter

They already released the EULA before even the product itself?
MS surely know how to make us laugh :D.

You won’t have to wait that long…

MS has already stated it will try to push back it’s release to 2009-2010. One thing that’s said to also hit Vista was the continued release delays (building up to much anticipation) and a too big timeframe between releases (XP’s to Vista).
We will probably be seeing the first signs (RC status) by this time next year. This is also plausible as Windows 7 is being build on the basis of Vista whereas Vista required much more reprogramming.

At least… that’s the hear-say.

Cheers,
Wj

this thread was moved by someone (?) to
opensuse.org.help.applications.multimedia

this posting, and all others to this broken thread’s stub in
opensuse.org.news.tech-news will NOT be viewable on the web forum…

if you wish to make a comment to this thread you must join
opensuse.org.help.applications.multimedia and search for an apparent
thread originating post with the title of “Re: Hahaha, Windows7 EULA

but, the original thread opening posting is NOT repeated in
opensuse.org.help.applications.multimedia a fact that TPTB do not take
kindly to hearing from nntp posters who are unhappy about that failing
of the nntp/http interface…

they are aware of the problem and say they are working on it…and, have
been since June…

You’ve got to build the trap before you put the bait in.

Haha,

That’s a good one,
