Gwenview plays videos (Leap 42.2)

HI all,
incidentally, I found out that Gwenview is able to play video files, besides opening image files. Either I haven’t tried Gwenview on folders where I have a mix of images and videos, or older versions (up to version included in Opensuse Leap 42.1) weren’t capable of this.
It happens that I dislike this option (a lot…).

Can anyone hint me how can I stop Gwenview from playing videos ?
I mean, I want to instruct somehow Gwenview to open only images (when I cycle with “go to next/previous image” I want it to skip any videos in my folder); unfortunately for me, I can’t find any such option anywhere.
Is it possible to do this ?
Thanks.

I debate whether I like this feature/option myself.

Anyway, I don’t know what the version in Leap is, but I doubt (but reserve the right to be wrong) that it is much different then TW’s when it comes to disabling this feature … in fact, I can’t fathom how you’d miss it: On Gwenview’s Menu bar > Settings > Configure Gwenview > General > untick box that says “Show videos”

Aye, it was right in front of my very eyes, of course :shame: … thanks a lot.
To make a funny defense for myself, probably I was blinded by that large horizontal bar for setting the “background colour” lol!

Thanks again.
