Hi,
On my newly installed Suse distri (11.0, on an AMD Athlon 64) I have issues when I want to view images: Gwenview crashes.
I have searched the Internet and found that this might be “caused by the recent “libexiv2-0.10” upgrade 0.10-1.4 > 0.10-1.5.” Bug#462450: exiv2 update causes gwenview to crash for some images - linux.debian.bugs.dist | Google Groups
I checked the version I have, and found I use libexiv2-2 (version 0.16-29.1). Does that mean I should not have this problem?
Anyone know how I can solve this problem?
Abel
PS When I started Gwenview from the konsole, and went to the directory containing the images, I got several lines like:
Warning: Exif: Pointer to next IFD is out of bounds; ignored.
followed by
KCrash: Application ‘gwenview’ crashing…
system call fstat: Bad file descriptor
Here is the stack trace of the crash:
System configuration startup check disabled.
