I am running opensuse 11. after install the gvim by zypper, the error shows lack of menu.vim once running the gvim. there is no menu shown on the gvim. what’s wrong? anyone can help me?
Might be missing one or more packages. I’m using Gvim because I like the Cream package on top of it. When I check I have the following packages:
jeh@morph~> rpm -qa | grep vim
vim-7.1-128.1
vim-data-7.1-128.1
gvim-7.1-128.1
vim-base-7.1-128.1
Got all those those?
It is now 2012 and this is still a problem.
vim-data was not installed when I installed vim/gvim via Yast. Once I installed it, everything ran as expected.
