heise online - Gutenprint 5.2.1 drivers for Linux and Mac OS X improve printer support
reviewed the release of the latest version of Gutenprint
that came out on 21st October. I got the sense recently, from a posting on the forum, that the latest version of gutenprint needed LSB3.2 to be installed; and I understand that LSB3.1 is the default in OpenSuse; …?? it didn’t seem as though the new release, 11.1 would have the LSB3.2 installed?
the release notes of the latest gutenprint
seem to just say that
Gutenprint will run on any reasonably modern computer running Linux,
the team at gutenprint seem to have been hard at work; many printers; about which questions are put on the forum; now seem to be covered …
I wonder if anyone can comment on whether having LSB3.1 still is an issue?
