Using wayland on plasma with increasing number of times dropping to tty when I use the gui menu to power off or reboot the system. In some cases the text in the cli is messed up. Found this but settings in yast are already as mentioned:

FWIW, I have multiple installations on which this occurs, but I haven’t spent any time on finding cause, or keeping track of which installations do it. TW is just one of various releases and distros, including Leap, where it occurs here.
