GUI gone after installing nvidia drivers

I have the xfce desktop environment. I followed this guide https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:NVIDIA_drivers to install nvidia drivers. GUI disappeared after reboot. I tried running the command

startx

but it shows some error.

I will attach the full error at the bottom.

It says that in the guide to disable wayland from file

/etc/gdm/custom.conf

. But there are no such file in my system.

I may have a similar problem with an upgrade from Leap 15.1 to 15.2. It seems to be my graphics card. What card do you have?

@sid1950
Do you also have an AMD- and Nvidia Card?
I believe not.

@anvarnazar
There seems to be 2 Cards:

539.827] (–) PCI: (1@0:0:0) 10de:1f95:103c:87b2 rev 161, Mem @ 0xfb000000/16777216, 0xb0000000/268435456, 0xc0000000/33554432, I/O @ 0x0000f000/128, BIOS @ 0x???/524288
539.827] (–) PCI:*(5@0:0:0) 1002:1636:103c:87b2 rev 199, Mem @ 0xd0000000/268435456, 0xe0000000/2097152, 0xfc500000/524288, I/O @ 0x0000d000/256

One AMD and one Nvidia.
Can you disable one in the Bios/UEFI?

@sid1950

It is a HP laptop. Model Pavilion ec-15xxx.
It has NVIDIA GTX 1650TI.
CPU AMD Ryzen 5 4000

@Sauerland

I think the CPU comes with an integrated processor. That is why it shows two cards. This didn’t happened when I installed KDE on tumbleweed. I just installed KDE. Let me install the nvidia drivers again. There are so many problems with XFCE. So I am switching back to KDE.

@Sauerland

I installed NVIDIA drivers after I installed KDE. It worked with zero issues. Didn’t get a chance to disable the other card from UEFI.

Thanks you guys for all your help.
