what can i do?

Install qtcurve-gtk2 and qtcurve-kde4

qtcurve-gtk2 and qtcurve-kde4 both installed.
even the 32bit version of qtcurve-gtk2.
i tried to configure other themes in kde and gtk.
thunderbird/firefox isn’t running.
thanks for other help.

Look at this: mozilla: symbol not found gdk_x11_window_get_drawable_impl - openSUSE Forums. Now the question is: Do you have thunderbird from the standard repo? If yes and the above helps then file a bug with bugzilla.

… and this thread as well: Firefox fails to start after upgrading to openSUSE 11.2 - openSUSE Forums.

i’ve checked the 2 threads you mentioned.

it seems a bit strange.

the original error messages were:
[1] (thunderbird-bin:5925): Gtk-WARNING **: Im Modulpfad »qtcurve« konnte keine Themen-Engine gefunden werden,
[2] (thunderbird-bin:5925): Gtk-WARNING **: Im Modulpfad »qtcurve« konnte keine Themen-Engine gefunden werden,
[3] /usr/lib64/thunderbird/thunderbird-bin: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/thunderbird/thunderbird-bin: undefined symbol: gdk_x11_window_get_drawable_impl

when setting an lowercase stile (like bluebubble) in kde gtk settings, i get only error [3].
mv /usr/share/kde4/apps/QtCurve /usr/share/kde4/apps/qtcurve
mv /usr/share/kde4/apps/QtCurve /usr/share/kde4/apps/qtcurve
and set qtcurve in kde gtk stile, i get [1] and [3]

  • upgrade gtk2 2.19.2-74.1 from /repositories/GNOME:/Factory/openSUSE_Factory > thunderbird error
  • downgrade firefox 3.5.6-1.1.1 to 3.5.4-1.1.2 from Submitting Bug Reports - openSUSE > firefox runs! but entering an url will call allways the zotero homepage (???). and opening multiple pages from the bookmarks, opens in all tabs the same website (???).

to much for me.
i’ll wait for 11.3.
thanks a lot, g.stof999
