gthumb on kde

I am looking for a alternative to digikam on suse 11.2 using the kde desktop because it crashes frequently when editing/saving images .

I tried gthumb 2.10.11 for gnome on gnome and kde …is there any advantage to using software on the desktop which it is specified for ?

gthumb seems to work the same in kde as in gnome …!

You can use so called KDE applics on Gnome and vv. The only thing is that libraries of “the other desktop” will be installed (as dependancies on the first of such a program you install).

A lot of peole are doing this all the time without even knowing that an applic was written for the “other” desktop.
