Gsynaptics - no permanent changes

Hello,

I installed 11.3 on an eee pc 901 with the ldxe desktop. everything seems to work fine and out-of-box.

But when do some configuration changes on the touchpad using the gsynaptics-gui, the changes only last until the next reboot of the computer.

How can I make them permanent?

Run gsynaptics-init . The file /etc/xdg/autostart/gsynaptics-init.desktop should do that automatically but apparently LXDE does not use it.

(I did not try this, only inspected the gsynaptics package on 11.2)
