Trying to install opensuse tumbleweed with an encrypted btrfs partition. Spent a couple hours trying to figure out why I was being dropped into the grub command line and I finally found that it looks like /boot is encrypted and grub doesn’t know how to decrypt it. When I looked at the grub config in recovery mode it appears to not be marking the partition as needing an encryption key to decrypt it. I tried installing tumbleweed with the same configurations and encryption turned off as a sanity check and that install works fine. Am I missing something during the install steps to make an encrypted partition work? I’ve included pictures of what I’m trying to do. Any help would really be appreciated!
I do not understand what it means. Show whatever configuration you looked at.
This is the file at /boot/grub2/grub.cfg. I finally gave up on running btrfs and am just running ext4 and everything works fine with encryption now.
