Grub video trouble

Anyone know what would cause grub to do this?

It doesn’t give me any error messages, and it only does it for the grub menu itself. Other than this, the system still boots and runs fine with no other video problems.

If you press Esc after hitting opensuse 11.1 to boot, does it turn into textmode?

Yes, but the video works fine at that point. It’s only the grub menu itself that has a problem.
