Hi gurus…
I just have 2 issues during the installation time:
- GRUB install fails
I have 2 disks in my laptop:
/dev/sda (160GB)is dedicated to Windows (wife’s order it ) with:
/dev/sda1 => c:
/dev/sda2 => d:
/dev/sda3 RESCUE windows
/dev/sda4 => e:
/dev/sdb (160GB) is for openSUSE with:
/dev/sdb1 => /boot
/dev/sdb2 => LVM partition
During the installation time grub install fails because the gfxmenu entry points to hd0 instead hd1.
No big deal, skip the step, and when your installation finishes, just ajust grub: vi /boot/grub/menu.lst
- Selecting packages when you want to install something during the openSUSE installation time.
On the Package Management select Search and type some package to add (in my case was wireshark).
Package Management found the package but my left click didn’t select the package to install…
Once again no big deal, just hit right click and choose Install
Just that…
I’m installed on my desktop (which just have openSUSE) without any problem.
Everything laptop and desktop are running like a charm!!
Regards,
Lawrence
