Grub Console at boot time in Suse?

Hello all,

How can you access the grub terminal from the Grub boot screen in Suse? (Get to a grub> prompt.)

Grub is Suse is a bit different that I am used to on other distros. Usually there is an option to hit ‘e’ to edit a selection and ‘c’ to go to the grub> prompt. In Suse, you can edit the boot line easy enough, but I can’t for the life of me see how to get to the grub> prompt directly.

Is grub in Suse compiled to not allow direct access to the grub> command line? Or am I missing something horribly obvious?

Thank you,
Lews Therin

Oh God - just figured it out. You just hit esc and you go from the graphical grub to the text environment and from there you can get to the grub console.

Bwah ha ha . . .
