HELP! I did something unknown and now I have no Green Gecko button on my bottom tool bar. I cannot pull up the program menus and I can’t add it as a widget. I have tried rebooting, no luck. How do I replace the Green Gecko Widget?
Make sure widgets are unlocked by right click desktop
Right click panel add widget ‘Application Launcher’
You will probably have to move it where you want it (click the cashew in the far right to do that)
The Launcher Icon may be a KDE icon, but can be changed by right click on the icon and go to Launcher settings
When done - lock widgets

Try unlock widgets and then add the launcher to the panel, if the widget
are unlocked try renaming ~/.kde4 to ~/kde4.old
