On another note, I wonder why your inxi output shows results for Vulkan API while other users’ output doesn’t… ?? And in your case it’s llvm so entirely CPU-based… Not too surprising as I remember Vulkan is not fully supported on that generation of hardware.

I was working in another thread, thinking this was a memory problem. It is not. Here is a link to my experience. No solution but revert the kernel.
Garbled text in browsers
I upgraded Tumbleweed to 20260529 this morning. It upgraded MESA to 26.1.1. Garbled graphics still exist. Looks like your understanding is correct.

After today’s update to Mesa 26.1.2 the problem has been solved.
