Hi, just a few days ago my graphics card started going nuts while I was playing a game, my screen went all weird like, pink and green colours all over the place like the matrix
So, i went into device manager and troubleshooted, it reccomended that i uninstall the driver, so i did.
Now i can not find a new driver anywhere on the internet
Confusing website >_> What am I supposed to do there?
Does anyone know where I can get a driver for this graphics card?
Geforce Go 6600, so far nothing seems to have worked. As I said, everything was running fine before, then all of a sudden it just kicked itself in the nuts.

What is āDevice Managerā? If āDevice Managerā recommended you uninstall the
driver, then perhaps you should ask it to recommend a new one.

You need the method of this page to install the Nvidia drivers: NVIDIA - openSUSE
BUT
Your card is listed here as a legacy card so you use the yellow button one-click method, not the green button one-click method.
BUt before you do that you will need to navigate to the relevant page in your web browser and to do that you will need graphics in some form.
To get elementary graphics working so you can use a web browser, try this:
Boot the computer but at the very first Grub screen press the key for numeral 1. Then press enter. That will start the computer in runlevel 1. Log in as root. Then enter this command:
sax2
That should get you an elementary graphics so you can carry out the rest of the procedures. If it doesnāt work then try this:
emmā¦yes i tried using sax2 -r to get into a basic graphic gui but my problem now is i am using vodaphone 3g broadband which is a usb modem which require installation but openSuse dosenāt seems to detect that modemā¦
i am thinking if i could download the .ymp file from current com then transfer to that desktop with openSuse for installation of nvidia driver?..any suggestion?
