Got a wired connection....surity?

Hello people,
I have got a wired connection now…just tell if the steps below…are all ri8 to get my wifi driver working:
first of all zypper up; then reboot

1.zypper addrepo --repo http://packman.mirrors.skynet.be/pub/packman/suse/11.2/Packman.repo

2.zypper in broadcom-wl-kmp-default
please tell fast

Why not just use Yast - Software - Repositories
Add community repo
select packman

Then use Software Management to add the correct driver to match your kernel -
