I frequently use Kopete to chat with other colleagues (using Google Talk) in remote offices. If I want to use voice chat, then I’m forced to use my web browser and the iGoogle web page.
After reading this blog, I decided to give Prism a go. Thanks to Jeremy Morgan’s blog.

After installing prism, then starting it from the command prompt, its just a matter of pointing it at
Let it create a desktop shortcut. (For those using KDE4, navigate to the Desktop folder and drag this icon to your panel to create a panel shortcut).
I now have an GUI that looks and functions, (including voice chat), just like the Windows Google Talk client app.
