I am using Google Earth on 64 bit 11.2 with the ATI Radeon driver. Starting up Google Earth causes my system to immediately crash and reboot. This happens when the GE splash screen comes up. After searching these forums, I found the libcrypto fix and the libopenssl fix. After following this advice, my system waits to reboot until just as the GE splash disappears and the GE window start to come up. This is a hard, immediate, system crash followed immediately by a reboot.
This has happened with GE 4.3 and with 5.1. 4.3 used to run fine on this computer, and just recently started with this problem. I’m wondering if it could have had something to do with the recent update to the Radeon driver?
