Hi guys. Running openSUSE 11.4 64 bit with Gnome 3.
I have the official Google Chrome installed, and I’m having a problem importing my bookmarks file. I switched to the official version as the open source Chromium didn’t work with extensions, which sadly seems to be a Google driven idea.
Anyway, no matter how I try to import the bookmarks, it won’t work. I try adding them via the “import settings” option, but nothing. Then someone mentioned on the Chrome forums that you have to import the file manually. This is something I usually do anyway when setting up a fresh Firefox. However, when I click to add the file, the file doesn’t show up in the file manager. It’s not hidden or anything, I have it in my home folder, but when browsing to it there’s no sign of it so I cannot import it.
I don’t think it’s a Chrome issue, but I don’t know how to fix it! If you do, let me know.
