Good Open Source Virtualization that can run Mac OSX?

I want to install Mac OSX but I don’t want to do a dual boot (not even sure it’s possible with mac) so i’d like to try it inside of OpenSUSE. Has anyone here gotten that to work? Are there good open source virtualization options?

Try parallels or VirtualBox

Geoff

Parallels isn’t open source (and I’m also not sure they have a version to run OSX on something else. I think all their products are guests on OSX).

Not sure on VirtualBox but I couldn’t find any info of it running OS X as guest.

Sorry I misunderstood you. It is very hard to get osx running in a virtual machine due the fact that apple only want osx running on macs.
I thought you wanted it the other way round

I’d start here:

You might try here, running under kvm.

Ah, very nice. Have to try that one out sometime.

Thanks, that looks promising! I was really hoping to use Xen but anything that works at this point is great!
