Goldendict RPM packages for 12.1?

I’m interested on trying this dictionary on 12.1, which seems to follow the seemingly iddle Stardict. I looked in the app’s repository:
Index of /repositories/office:/goldendict

And saw 11.3 and 11.4 do have their RPM packages, but 12.1 is kind of… empty yet. Do you know if 12.1 will have its RPM files?
Sorry if it’s a bothering question, just got a little bit excited about the dictionary project… Thanks.

you could take the src.rpm from the 11.4 src and try rebuilding it for 12.1

rpmbuild --rebuild goldendict-1.0.1-17.6.src.rpm
or you could wait

try Index of /repositories/home:/opensuse_zh. It is packaged against git version on Nov 23. I’m the packager.

Thank you for the info. Now I have some doubts just out of curiosity I’d like to ask…
What does “packaged against git version November 23” mean?
In general for software, are there differences between repositories? Namely your repo and the one I mentioned in this case.

I’m not a native English speaker, here I MEAN I packaged it based on source available to pull(download) from git on Nov 23, Git is a version control system used by goldendict developers to continuously update their project.
yes, some repositories are newer than others. but this status can be temporary like My repo home:MargueriteSu might be newer than yours home:F_style if I update sources quicker than you do or permanent like openSUSE:Factory is always newer than openSUSE:12.1.
It’s hard to check. a normal way is to compare their package’s version number. a software rpm’s format is name-version-release.arch.rpm like goldendict-1.0.1-5.1.x86_64.rpm, you can find it in YaST below the software’s version tab or openSUSE search service. 1.0.2 is always newer than 1.0.1. but note to that release number is useless, because it is automatically added by Open Build Service to count your build times. during such builds, a packager may update source or not. so 1.0.1-5.1 may have the same source as 1.0.1-100.1.

I hadn’t realized this until now.

Index of /repositories/office:/goldendict
There are still no packages for 12.1, but there are for Factory, which was updated more recently than 12.1 itself. Assuming Factory refers to the “beta” version following 12.1, why would Factory be more updated than the now stable 12.1?
I may be lacking some info or concepts though…
