GnuPG daemons dirmngr and gpg-agent - socket activation with systemd - documentation

The only documentation I can find related to the activation of the GnuPG daemons dirmngr and gpg-agent by means of systemd sockets is, in the README provided by the “gpg2” package.

Does anyone know if, there’s some openSUSE documentation related to this?

  • I’ve searched the Wiki but, couldn’t find anything related to this issue …

BTW, I’ve dropped symbolic links in ‘/usr/lib/systemd/user/’ pointing to the .socket and .service systemd files located in ‘/usr/share/doc/packages/gpg2/examples/systemd-user/’ – the files there are provided by the “gpg2” and “dirmngr” packages …

  • Everything seems to be OK …
It’s only that, tracing what was causing the entries in the SDDM log files was a little bit time consuming …
