Guten Abend!
bei mir startet nach einer Installation des RC2 gnucash nicht, liefert aber beim versuchten Start keine Fehlermeldung. Hat jemand eine ähnliche Erfahrung gemacht?

dir ist schon klar das du noch keine Finale Version verwendest? Bedeutet auch das viele Anwendungen/Programme noch nicht für 12.1 zur Verfügung stehen. Warte einfach bis 12.1 als Finale freigegeben und entsprechende Repos samt Inhalt für die selbigen Anwendungen verfügbar sind.

Läuft leider in der Release nicht besser: das Startbild erscheint noch & verschwindet wieder,

Im englisch-sprachigen Forum gibt es einen ähnlichen Fall.
Dort wird mit einer unstabilen Version gnucash 2.4.8 experimentiert, dazu noch mit abhängigen Komponenten guile/libguile.
Ich probierte - allerdings ohne Erfolg.
Es gibt auch Verweise in bugzilla-Diskussionen, dort scheint auch die Übersetzung de-DE eine Rolle zu spielen.
Müssen wir wohl auf ein offizielles Update warten.
Vielen Dank für die Info, ich find´s halt nur ein bisschen peinlich, dass sowas in einer RC2 Version passiert.

Ich hatte ja wie oben erwähnt auch schon gesucht & probiert, auf Deinen Tipp hin & den Verweis im Thread >Gnucash won’t start<
auf das Repo-Verzeichnis von j_engel, installierte ich diese Version von GnuCash2.4.8_*_x86-64 & diese funzt auf meinem System!
