Hi,
I borrowed some patches fro Ubuntu which allow to switch window with alt-tab while drag&drop with mouse, and to cycle around throught desktops with keyboards desktop switch ( last+1=first desktop, or first-1=last desktop ).
For this last one you need to enable it with gconf editor:
apps/metacity/general/workspace_switcher_keyboard_cycle.

Only for openSuSE 11.4, sorry, I have no time, and to be honest, interest or motivation to maintain packages for other versions yet. But it easy to branch a package.
