Hi all 
i went to gnome webpage and found that it is 2.24 stable version…
I’m search the oS.repo and found…
i add new repo that provide 2.24 and with yast update all that i find can be updated related to gnome…
then i reboot and has broken gnome… i run icewm(i use it now) and tvm(i can be wrong with this) last is really great with low resurces…
most programs from gnome is not running… firefox also…
it is a pity yast could not solve this till now. gui yast (both qt and ncurces) not working…
i am remove with zypper repo tha provide gnome 2.24
most terrible that i have no music so i try to run mplayer - it depends on some libcucul.so.0
first i’d made i remove mplayer by
zypper rm mplayer
then i install it…
i have the same problem…
rpm -qf libcucul.so.o
has no result…
i look in /bin and in /usr/
and found that i have link /usr/lib/libcucul.so.0.99.x to libcaca.something
rpm -qa|grep libcaca give me some result
and i remove it and with zypper and install it
but mplayer also looks in libcucul.so.o
i mv /usr/lib/libcucul.so.0.99.x /usr/lib/libcucul.so.0
and now i have listen eric clapton’ wonderfull tonight
in same way i start firefox so now i write here…
and have a some question can i made recover my system in more simplest way with openSuSE or not… and we can discuss here the problem of downgrading… Every lame including me wants to has the latest version of anything… so it is very important to have a downgrading tools… that helps save system.
