Pretty much. I actually jumped to openSUSE for a couple reasons
- I dont like Ubuntu
- I dont like GNOME since it has so few customization settings (feels like none)
- I heard about openSUSE from an LTT video
- I tried Leap in a sketchy online VM that had KDE and I was pretty much hooked on Linux from that point on
