GNOME top bar fonts look broken

I know this is the normal appearance for GNOME3 but the top bar fonts (I think Cantarell Bold) don’t have even spacing. Example:

Any way to fix this? Thanks

How do you mean, even spacing, looks fine to me?

I use the gnome-shell extension ‘Activities Configurator’ Activities Configurator - GNOME Shell Extensions you can set the text padding etc with this.
