Gnome to xfce

How can I change the desktop gnome to xfce?

At login you are given a choice (check bottom of screen). If you use auto login logout to see it. I beleive that xfce is installed by default but if not you can go to Yast-Software Management and select the xfce pattern in the pattern tab

Just install it, and when login, choose that one. In principle, you can
have as many desktop choices installed as you wish and disk space allows.

This is adding to what others have said.

You will probably need to install XFCE.

Open Yast → Software Management.

If there is a tab labeled “Patterns”, select that. If there is no such tab, then click on “View” and select “Patterns”.

Under Patterns, select “XFCE Desktop Environment”. Then click “Accept” and it should be installed.

Then logout. At the login screen, select “xfce”. (You probably have to click on a menu button somewhere on the login screen, but it isn’t too hard to find).

After the first XFCE login, it should remember that as your preferred choice.
