gnome terminal HELP please

i found a command to help me solve a problem and thought it was a good idea to make this a custom command !!
now when i wish to use the terminal it carries out the custom command and in a split second and closes :’(
how do i delete this custom command please ??

Did you add it to your ~/.profile or ~/.bashrc file or some other place?

thanks for reply malcolm, i told it to run a custom command instead of my shell,but managed to solve the problem using gnome config editor,
i was having problems making opera browser die after a session,and found that 'killall opera’did the job!!
so now using it in the mini commander in panel.
