Been trying out Slowroll on a new install having had problems with a PC & now trying to rebuild all the apps & services I had on Tumbleweed Gnome. Trying to set up Dropbox which I had syncing well with TW, but failing to install it as when I try & install the RPM I get an error message No provider of ‘libgnome-2.32.1’ found.
I gather I might need the Gnome Stable repo to find this - is this available in Slowroll or is there an easier way to install Dropbox on Gnome as the instructions on Opensuse seem to be for KDE while Dropbox only provide .deb & a RPM file for Fedora which is the one I was trying to install, but get the above missing dependency.
Hi thanks for taking the time out to help. I had tried that but initially it just seemed to take me to the website to sign in. However after some searching around I got it to work eventually by installing the package shown on this page: nautilus extension
After installing that I had to start it by running dropbox start -i in a terminal & then when I launched the dropbox app it took me to the web again & this time it linked my account & set up the sync. So all good now & also even got the indicator working with the Gnome Extension - AppIndicator, KStatusNotifierItem and legacy Tray icons support to the Shell.
