I can’t make the gnome screensaver work.
In “Setting” and “Power”, the blank screen is on after 10 minutes; in “Tweaks” and “Power”, “When Laptop Lid is Closed” is in bold, but not option is given, although “Don’t suspend on lid close” is on.
I couldn’t find any screensaver and “gnome-screensaver” is not available for Leap 42.1
Is there a way to activate the screensaver or leave a blank screen after 10 minutes of inactivity?
Thanks!
And what display manager (login screen) are you using?
GNOME’s screen saver/locker only works with GDM.

gnome-screensaver is a thing of the past. It doesn’t even exist in 13.2 any more…
Fixed!
I went to sysconfig editor, Desktop, Display manager, and DISPLAYMANAGER. I changed it from lightdm to gdm. Now the display dims and gets black after a few minutes.
Now I’m learning the difference between lightdm, gdm, and the rest of dm.
Thanks!
