Hi.I am running tumbleweed gnome on wayland. One problem i noticed is when i click on YaST nothing happens. YaST does not start. I have tried from termial using: /sbin/yast2 but also nothing, just some abort message.
when i try to run from terminal i get this:
gnomesu /sbin/yast2

/sbin/yast2: line 440: 2630 Aborted (core dumped) $y2ccbin $Y2UI_ARGS "$@"

Just out of curiosity,
How did you install wayland?
I have a pending Q in another thread where I’m wondering if I install Enlightenment libraries whether Wayland would automatically be configured to be used (among other things).
Also, if there are alternate ways of installing Wayland, the method you choose may be relevant to your own Q.
TIA,
TSU
On Tumbleweed when gnome is installed in login manager there is gnome on wayland setting.
