I installed Gnome a long time ago but I never really bothered using it because I like KDE, but I just ran into a situation where I wish I had attempted to use it a long time ago. I just screwed up KDE today and I found out the hard way that there is no Gnome option under Sessions at the log in screen. I don’t understand how, I have never had that issue before, and searching for it came up with nothing similar. What do I need to do to be able to use Gnome?
Boot this way
Boot to Level 3, then Yast and More…
Once you have Yast up, find the gnome patterns and check them to install. Once done, reboot and try again.
