I try to get ride of my trash-icon on the desktop in gnome (openSuSE11). If done this under Ubuntu befor but I cant figure out how. Maybe some con help - google could not.

Well, this may not be the “official way” but it’s my way 
Run gconf-editor -> /apps/nautilus/desktop and trash_icon_visible checkmark from there.
It did work thats all I need:D.
