nice / soothing / good choice. :good:

Bland, but I don’t really pay much attention to things like backgrounds and themes. I just want something stable and reliable for production.
Ive heard alot recently around the web about this distro or that one looks ugly blah blah, and yeah it is nice to have a sexy desktop by default (and to agree with the point of the poster suse does look good) but how many of us immediately change the theme or wallpaper anyway? I have some on a flash ready to go at first boot lol
Most people do, but I’ve never understood this. Things like backgrounds and themes are never really important to me, and I don’t usually notice them. Screensavers! Why do people care what’s on their screen when they walk away? The things that are important to me are having my system configured and software running and stable. If I do any visual tweaking, it’s usually something subtle such as the color.
Different people different likes. I like to customise my installs.
Where have you seen it? I haven’t run across any new Gnome desktop screenshots for openSUSE.
I normally use the included/default themes and openSUSE is pretty good. After fooling around with Gnome-shell lately (which is actually pretty cool, though I wish it relied less on desktop effects (zoom/fade/etc.) though), the openSUSE Gnome navigation makes a little more sense.
“Why do people care what’s on their screen when they walk away?”
Did you think a lot about this question? :)))
If not, change your profile and go to stand-up comedy!
Ouch! That didn’t come out right, did it?
It’s awesome

I find it’s fun to have a secret web cam so that the screen personalizes
itself for the person who is near it… really freaks them out!
If you’re a “master”… show short messages on the screen that are
personalized BUT include their PASSWORD in a nonchalant way.
Great idea… A bit cruel, but way cool
