Gnome Applet that notifies of new emails?

Hello,

I want a gnome applet that notifies me when I get new emails. I have a outlook express email that is also setup on evolution. I’m running suse 10.1

I’ve seen mail-notifier but that is only for 10.2

Hi, add this repo and install a package called “mail-notification” Index of /repositories/GNOME:/Community/openSUSE_11.0

After installing you’ll get a mail notification menu item. There you can set your mail client, notification sound etc

Don’t evolution have notify function? possible to autoget mail with evolution

The first one doesn’t work. I haven’t tried the second one yet.

So is there something like this in evolution?
